Bob Mahoney
Executive Sales Vice President
Montgomery, Florence

The Mahoney Group is a real estate team focused on providing valuable and straight forward guidance to our clients, in a personable and approachable manner. We are driven by relationships and not transactions. We put priority on building these trusting and lasting relationships with our clients and that gives them peace of mind and confidence to navigate real estate investments and their future.

Bob Mahoney was born to sell homes. After 42 years in corporate real estate, Bob decided to return to selling and joined his family “The Mahoney Group” at Sibcy Cline’s Montgomery office in 2022.

Real estate runs deep in the Mahoney family. Bob’s mother, Joyce, began her real estate career at 24 years old and started her own brokerage in 1961 while raising her family. She was the first woman elected as president of the Cincinnati Real Estate Board in the 1970s. Bob (along with sister Gayle and brother Tim) all pursued careers in real estate to follow in their mother’s footsteps.

Bob obtained his real estate license in 1975. He earned a broker’s license in 1978 and was a Certified Residential Broker (CRB) in 1990. As Bob’s career blossomed, he was first named a Sibcy Cline Branch Sales Manager and later became the company’s Regional Sales Manager in 1989. For 35+ years he then served as the General Sales Manager for Sibcy Cline. Bob oversaw the company’s Branch Offices, Branch Managers, and Sales Agents.

Bob served as a Director with the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors from 1995–1999. He was the organization’s president in 1998. Throughout the years, he has served on numerous board committees.

He is a graduate of Purcell Marian High School where he enjoyed playing basketball. He continued to play the game at the University of Mississippi. Bob was inducted into the Purcell Marian Hall of Fame recognizing his athleticism in 2014. Read more about that here.

Bob and his wife, Julie, are the proud parents of four children and the grandparents of six. In the community, Bob is recognized by many from his many years of coaching grade school basketball at All Saints School.
